This is a absurd TV series to picket with fantastic interim, cracking pictures, and excellently chosen soundtracks to adjust the mood. However, for those who haven't read the original novel yet like me, the twists are non that hard to predict. OOUIL still follows the bones motif of the loftier school crime drama series. Whether information technology tin top all the previous successes of other similar series and literally stand out or not? I highly doubt that.

'Ane Of Us Is Lying' isn't the sort of series which would usually tick many boxes for me, simply on this occasion this is a really good drama series. I SYNOPSIS: 'A encephalon, an athlete, a princess, a criminal, and a "basket case" walk into detention - but only the showtime 4 make it out live.' Similar 'How To Get Abroad With Murder' this is a classic murder mystery drama where everyone is a suspect and each episode raises more questions. The teen drama side, which is the usual turn off for me as mentioned above, is actually actually refreshing here. Information technology's written actually well and equally the cast put in sterling performances which keep you intrigued throughout. Will there be a second season? Probably, and I look forwards to it. 8/x

The series strays way to far from the book. The tv prove was cliche, with multiple plotholes. Every episode I was hoping the quality would become better, just it simply got worse the further into the story they got. Besides the fact that almost character look nothing like their descriptions, the dynamics betwixt all of them, is the thing that made this series virtually unbearable to sentinel. In the book, their 'trauma' bond and how they worked together to observe the killer is one of the reasons information technology's such a skilful book and a waste of time to sentinel the series!

I loved One Of Us Is Lying in it's original book form, every character was a mystery in itself every bit the story unfolded. I lost some faith when I saw the cast when they were officially shown. Nate and Cooper looked nothing like how i would run into them, the story is muddy and all over the place. All the characters secrets are almost immediately spilled and most of the tension is gone. I did enjoy the heart part where it seemed to selection up in quality, just it'south ending made me feel hollow. Jake does not die in the book and this was written horribly. Simply i wouldn't say this series couldn't better with the probability of a second season being loftier. I can only hope the series gets meliorate

The acting, production, soundtrack, etc. were all neat. Unfortunately, the storyline strays from the original source material as well much. I understand changing things to fit the tv show format better, but there was a reason why the book was a bestseller. I wish they hadn't thrown out some of the important plot points and even characters whose presence brought a significant amount of intelligence & self-control that was lacking among the main characters. Instead, they let the young leads go swept away with over-dramatic reactions, arguments, lies, and proclamations of honey that are unrealistic & often unnecessary, yet prevalent in so many teen dramas. The original story from the novel was smart without fluff and unnecessary plotlines added but for drama. The evidence'south storyline starts off fast-paced and indulgent; information technology was like shooting fish in a barrel to be sucked in episode later episode. But by the concluding 2-3 episodes, the story had veered far off course from the book and by the finale, information technology became a cliche riddled with plot holes & unanswered questions.
